EXHIBITIONS

SOS annually sponsors and promotes exhibitions which provide its members with opportunities to display their works.

SOS sponsors an annual juried show. The show is open to members and non-members.

Members of SOS also have the opportunity to participate in an annual members-only show. The purpose of this show is to allow members to display their work as a group and thereby promote the individual artists, as well as the group as a whole. It provides the public with an opportunity to experience the breadth of sculptural work produced by the members.

SOS also promotes participation by members in exhibitions by other guilds affiliated with the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and by other arts organizations which welcome sculpture in the exhibitions. Members and arts organizations are encouraged to notify SOS and its members of upcoming exhibitions and shows in which sculptors can participate

For the last four years, SOS has also participated as a group in displaying pieces in the gardens of Frick Park as part of the A Fair in the Park. Participation in this weekend event is open to members of SOS.
