The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is now showcasing the work of 9 members from the Society of Sculptors. There are over a dozen outdoor pieces placed throughout the grounds and several indoor pieces. The exhibition will be up until January 15, 2017. Check out the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden website for more info about this exhibition.

Join us as we celebrate the first exhibition at the Artsmiths of Pittsburgh's underground gallery on Saturday, April 2, 6-8pm. We have a little over a dozen Society of Sculptors members exhibiting their work, along with the giant shop on the main floor of the building open for sale of amazing local work! See you there!

Lebanon. SOS will be the first exhibition to take place in their new underground gallery! We are gathering for our annual membership meeting- Sunday, February 21st, 1-4pm at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Simmons Hall to discuss all the exciting things planned for 2016. A few topics of discussion will be upcoming exhibitions (one in April), summer social events, volunteer opportunities, and the International Sculpture Conference being held in Pittsburgh this fall.

In collaboration with our 80th Annual Exhibition at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, SOS is hosting a screening of our juror's documentary, "Thaddeus Mosley: Sculptor" on Sunday, December 6th, 1-4pm in Simmons Hall. We had a wonderful opening reception and this is a great opportunity to check out the show if you have yet to see it.
We are also inviting you to participate in a silent art auction. Small works of art, donated by SOS members, will be on display and auctioned off at the end of the event. If you would like to donate a small piece, of any medium, please email SOS. (Work can be brought in shortly before the event begins but we need to allow enough space). SOS will provide beverages and light snacks, please bring a potluck item to share!
